A team of students from Ithaca College and Cornell University have constructed a full-scale replica of the Mars Exploration Rover (MER). They were assisted by Steven Squyres, a Cornell astronomy professor who is working on Athena, the real MER. Their team leader was Miles Johnson, who worked on construction of MADDOG, a previous MER replica.
