Bionic Limb Replacements

William Craelius, designer of the Dextra artificial hand, predicts that life-like bionic limbs may be possible within a decade. In an article from Rutgers he says that the biggest obstacle to bionics has been human-machine communication. He goes on to describe recent developments in this field that are making it easier for implanted devices to communicate with the human neural system.
