TheTech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA. is having an event called the WOW Weekend this Saturday and Sunday. There will be many robotics and engineering things to see and do. The San Francisco Robotics Society (SFRSA) and the HomeBrew Robotics Club (HBRC) will be sponsoring Robot Sumo and Mini-Sumo competitions. Other sponsored events include RoboBricks demonstration, a toy to robot conversion demo, a panel discussion with engineers who have built Battlebots, robot activity center for kids, and a place for Aibo owners to show off their pets. Also, don't miss Za Za, the robot designed and built for the museum by Brian Rudy.

Thanks for the post. We all had a great time. The Tech had some of the best weekend attendance they have seen this year. Cliff from the SFRSA will probably post a write-up on the club's website in a week or so.

One minor correction to your post: Zaza is an RWI B21 (a more modern version can be found here) to which the Tech and I made a few repairs and modifications, not 'built' per se. The majority of our work has gone into software development.
