This is another important weekend for Robot Competitions. The 2001 Manitoba Robot Games in Manitoba, Canada take place today and Sunday. Expect to see some unusual events such as Atomic Hockey and robot tractor pulls. Also this weekend are several of the Regionals for the FIRST Robotics Competition. The New York and Southern California FIRST regionals have been in the news lately with one being covered by ABC and the other to be broadcast live on NASA TV. And finally, the Dallas regional for the Trinity Fire-Fighting Home Robot Contest will be held today at the Science Place in Dallas, TX.
