According to a recent NASA press release, Santa Claus has been granted security clearance to land at the NASA Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF) where he will use NASA equipment to assist with the installation of a robotic arm, the eXtra-Manual Aid System (X-MAS), on his sleigh. The robot arm will be installed between the cockpit and cargo area to automate the process of toy retrieval.
