Major cities in the UK may be next in line to have fiber optic cables installed in sewer pipes by CityNet's sewer robots. CityNet has already contracted with eight cities in the US to lay fiber in sewers. Their wheeled robots can roll through sewer pipes to install fiber and maintain the pipes.
