This week DARPA selected four of the original eight teams to continue Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicle (UGCV) research under Phase 1B of its development program. In July 2002, two of these teams will be selected to build full-scale prototype UGCVs. Most of the initial research is being kept under wraps but CMU does have a web site on one of their UGCV research platforms, the CMU GOAT.
