Miltary use of the Self-Aiming Camera

In May a story on robots.net described work on the self-aiming camera. The camera is a robotic device that locates interesting sounds using video and audio cues. Today, a Wired News story talks about military interest in the device for use as a robotic sentinel that could identify the source of an attacker's gunfire and return fire instantly.
