Reuters reports that Omron has introduced NeCoRo, the robot cat they've been working on for a while to compete with the Sony Aibo robot dog. Unlike the Aibo, NeCoRo is covered with fur and looks more like a deformed biological cat or one of those mutant creatures from Japanese movies rather than a robot. They're priced at $1,530 each.
