The $100,000 Loebner Prize has gone unclaimed for another year. The contestants met over the weekend at the London Science Museum for the 2001 contest. Established by Hugh Loebner in 1990, the contest is intended to be a real-world implementation of the Turing Test. The best AI software available is pitted against humans and a panel of judges must sort out which is which.
