NASA's in the firefighting biz

NASA has a new high-tech Altus II robotic firefighting plane. It can circle over fires for 24 hours and beam back video and data of the problem spots via satellite. This plane is a version of the predator that we've mentioned before here and here and Global Hawk here. A test flight is planned and they hope to have it operational after some FAA issues have been sorted out.
