The Swirling Brain send a few robot stories out way lately that haven't made it out of my inbox yet, including a tale of robots in the courtroom, a mini Google Lunar X Prize for school kids, and Volkswagon's Slipstream, one of several autonomous robocar designs for the year 2057. Roschler sent a link to his exposé revealing the shocking truth about i-SOBOT Fight Clubs. The fine folks at Trossen Robotics sent us a link showing off the inventions created by the winners of their latest monthly robotics contest. We recently learned that John Palmisano has written a short tutorial on creating 3D circuit board images in the free (as in beer but not as in speech) Eagle3D program. Roland Piquepaille sent us links to his latest blog posts on robotic neurosurgeons, the possibility that you may someday marry a robot, and the use of augmented reality to operate robotics on the international space station. Know any other robot news, gossip, or amazing facts we should report? Send 'em our way please.
