The Franklin Institute has honored the greatest men and women of science, engineering, and technology since 1824. The institute is now accepting nominations for the 2008 Bower Award for Achievement in Science with the theme of robotics. A gold medal and a cash prize of $250,000 await the individual selected for their work in actuators, sensors, algorithms, AI and other related areas.
