Today is the last day of practice for teams participating in the 4th International AUVS competition, being held in Annapolis at the US Naval Academy. Static judging of the autonomous underwater robots begins this afternoon and qualifying rounds tomorrow. UPI has a nice summary of the action so far. There are 12 teams participating this year, including last years winning team from the University of Rhode Island, who will be entering the new and improved Prowler II.
