Aerial Robotic Pollution Tracking

With funds from the NSF, NOAA, NASA, UN and various foundations, Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego is using aerial drones to monitor the polluted skies of the Indian Ocean. The goal is to answer questions about how pollution affects cloud microphysical and radiative processes relating to weather (short term) and climate (longer term).
