Wharton Interviews Helen Greiner

Posted 11 Apr 2006 at 18:38 UTC by steve Share This

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania posted an interesting interview with Helen Greiner of iRobot. It covers everything from her first interest in robots after seeing R2D2 in Star Wars to the latest commercial and military robots being developed at iRobot. Find out if she's worried about robots taking over the world. Find out about the first iRobot prototype that burst into flames the night before it absolutely had to be shipped. Find out what Helen does for fun when not building robots (would you believe snow boarding?). In addition to the interview on the website, there's a podcast version as well.
