Robots Localization with RFID

We first heard about RFID chips being implanted into animals, then humans, now the GROUND! Actually, this may be the only application for these little devices that doesn't make me dash for my VHS of 1984, or DVD of Minority Report. These Shopping Assistant Robots use RFID's located in the floor to navigate a shopping mall and "help" customers. Also in this experiment, RFID tags are used to locate the store, identify products, and to identify humans. "Greetings Mr. Smith, are you happy with your recent cell-phone purchase? It's been two weeks, would like to see our new models?"
