Seascan could save lives as it scans the weather over oceans.

Space.com has a story about a robotic airplane named Seascan that can scan the weather patterns over the oceans to help out sea faring sailors get accurate weather maps. The article says that a transatlantic flight can be made on 3 gallons of gas. Wow!
