A new guide and floor-cleaning robot called the RIDC-01 has been unveiled in Japan. The robot is about 4' tall and weighs 220 lbs. It can listen and recognize human speech and can respond back. It has a projector on its head and can show DVD movies or other video. It is powered by a 24-volt DC lithium ion battery which lasts about 120 minutes. If you're sold on this robot you'll need a big wallet as Japanese robot company Tmsuk (The fish is your friend) sells it for about $85,000!
