Kawada Industries unveiled a new Humanoid Robot for Risky Work. We've reported on the previous model the HRP-2P before. The updated model HRP-3P robot can walk on ice and in rain. It can do work either by remote control or via pre-programmed steps. The new robot is intended for construction sites and risky business. There's not much else reported about this robot but it seems very similar to its predecessor model; it's about the same size and all. So likely it can dance and probably runs Linux.
