A robot with an odd name is TerminatorBot who's purpose in life is to search for survivors by crawling through disaster sites with its two front legs. The front limbs can collapse to fit into a cylindrical body that can be tossed or launched into specific locations for which to search through rubble. The robot is about 3 inches in diameter and about 8 inches long. Researchers from the University of Minnesota, get inspiration for the robot's name from the scene in the movie "The Terminator" in which the cyborg's dismembered torso crawls by pulling itself across the floor in a last-ditch effort to exterminate Sarah Conner the hero of mankind.
