Flesh and Machines

Flesh and Machines is the name of a recent public lecture given by Rodney Brooks and sponsered by the AAAS Program on the Dialogue of Science, Ethics, and Religion. In his lecture, Brooks takes on a number of philosophical questions such the Human claim to uniqueness and the fear or acceptance of robots. A second lecture by Noreen Herzfeld addressed moral and religious questions about robots. A brief summary of the lectures can be found on the AAAS web site.
