The growing number of miltary UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) is becoming a threat to civilian airspace worldwide according to a new report by Janes. UAVs used in the Kosovo conflict are reported to have caused serious air traffic control problems. The limited intelligence of the UAVs makes them unable to work safely within airspace that must be shared with civilian aircraft. In essense the UAVs are not smart enough to understand or follow Asimov's Laws of Robotics.
