Robots in High SchoolPosted 6 Dec 2004 at 04:26 UTC by steve
A San
Francisco Chronicle article describes an unusual class at San Ramon Valley High
School where there are no desks and no lectures. It's a class that
students actually want to attend, even though it means staying at school
as late as 8pm and coming in on Saturdays. It's a robotics class where
the students work on a robot for the annual FIRST competition. Last year the
student's entry placed second out of the 46 teams competing in their
region.
