A new release of Pyro was announced today. Pyro is a library, environment, GUI, and low-level drivers that allow robotics and AI programming in the Python scripting language. Pyro includes hardware support for lots of common robotics platforms including the ActivMedia Pioneer, K-Team Khepera and Hemisson, Sony AIBO, Evolution ER1, and others. The Pryo library includes code for neural nets, genetic algorithms, vision, self-organizing maps, mapping, localization and other cool stuff. And, of course, it's Free Software licensed under the GNU GPL.
