Robot-RX Fills Perscriptions at UPMC

UPMC (University of Pittsburg Health System) has installed McKessonHBOC Automated Healthcare's product the ROBOT-Rx! Here's the Robot-Rx web page. Robot-Rx is a robotic arm on vertical and horizontal rails that can read barcodes on cassettes to help store and dispense drugs for patients. One of the hospitals that uses this system can fill 2,500 perscriptions a day!
