I first met Joanne Pransky at the 1995 Austin RoboFest, where she presented herself as the world's first Robotic Psychiatrist and the real Susan Calvin. She actually worked in the marketing department of Sankyo Robotics and used her alter-ego to promote awareness and acceptance of Robotics. She's still promoting robotics and Slashdot has posted an interview with her in which she answers questions from readers about her claims of being a robopsychologist, her opinions on human nature, the future of robotics, and other topics.
