Dafydd Walters has written a new article on the I2C interface that was just posted over at mobilerobotics.com. It gives a general introduction to the I2C bus and talks about ways to use it for PC-based robotics. Examples of sensors and motor controllers with I2C interfaces are given. Dafydd also describes a practical implementation using the Linux I2C driver and a VIA Mini-ITX board.
