Petar T. Petkoff has released an early version of his "universal, flexible, and intelligent" programmer for the Ateml AT89S52 microcontroller. His project, called AT51Programmer, includes schematics, PCB layouts, source code for the firmware, and source code for a set of Linux-based tools. See the project's SourceForge site for CVS access and more information. Documentation is also included. All the code included in the project is Free Software licensed under the GNU GPL.
