Ponderings of When AI Will Outdo Humans

UPI talks to people about when possibly robot intelligence will surpass human intelligence. Some dates are thrown out such as by 2030 the brain will be reverse engineered and also 50 years from now machine intelligence will have most of human's intelligence. But who really knows? What's your prediction of things to come and when they'll be?

Everybody laughs when someone reads a quote from a scientist who in the '50s predicted we would be living on Mars by now. I don't think people know enough right now to make predictions. Imagine if someone in the '60s had predicted AI in 50 years based on the successes of that decade.
