Sunil Kumar Agrawal and other University of Deleware engineers have been working on a Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) dubbed "Sparrow". The tiny flying robot is 15cm long and weighs only 18 grams. It flys by flapping its wings but still lacks the ability to steer and requires a tethered power supply. More details can be found in the News Journal.
